Since the 80's, the Space Shuttle has been followed by millions of people all around the World, and has inspired many generations. Even though she will always be remembered for her triumphs, we won't forget the tragedies that have also been part of her history, with the loss of 2 Shuttles and 14 brave astronauts. In 2011, the completion of the ISS marks the end of the Space Shuttle Program. This is why, through that video, I wanted to pay Tribute to the World's greatest Space Program.
This video is dedicated to all Space Shuttle lovers.
And, to each and every person that has been involved in any way in the Space Shuttle Program, I wanted to THANK YOU for having made this possible; you are the true heroes.

I'll always miss these wonderful birds terribly. I got a big shuttle shaped hole in my heart, to put it sentimentally. But I am looking forward with great enthusiasm to the first manned Orion mission. The splashdown party is gonna kick some VERY serious ass.

this is truly a sad moment. I mean to see the end of such an incredible era in the history of spaceflight. One of the longest serving space veichles now officialy retired forever.
