So my first experience with Crosman (Benjamin's) new super magnum gas ram powerhouse started out rocky, but ended like a dream. Well over 900 FPS with lead pellets and 800 fps with moderately heavy lead pellets. Shooting tight groups will take a lot of practice and patience. The trigger system needs a lot of work, and the recoil, while better than a metal spring, is still very severe and require excellent technique to shoot well. But... if you can get it all to work together, you can deliver a lot of energy on target. Good rifle that could be better. Let's all encourage Crosman to BUILD A BETTER TRIGGER!!!.

  • with your crosman hollow points, what were your group size. and how sensitive is this gun for how you hold it. since most magnums are hold picky, i was just wondering how this one does.

  • @sceneginger013

Not sure on the hollow points. I don't have this gun anymore and it's bin a while since I shot one.. as for hold sensitivity.. it is very hold sensitive and take a ton of practice and skill with a spring gun to get any sort of accuracy.

    Cheers

  • Is the Benjamin .22-Caliber Break Barrel Carbine gun off of walmart.com like the Trail?

  • @DYLANTHESK8ER

    Which walmart gun.. the Titan?

  • How quite is it compared to the whisper? I had a big cat and it sounded like a .22lr

  • @steedu46gt

you were shooting the wrong ammo.. if you use standard lead ammo in your whisper, the noise would be minimal. This gun is about 99 or 100 db but I'm just guessing. I don't have one to test anymore.
