I am talking facts, my friend, not opinions. The President did NOT do an economic stimulus bill. The CEO told him that. It was a big spending bill to pay back those who got him elected.

@CommonSenseJoe you clearly rely on silly little talking points to justify your rather ignorant opinions.
If more jobs were lost, it happened prior to Obama winning The White House. What led to the eventual stimulus? Horrid neocon economic policies, as in tax cuts to corporate whores in 2001, 2002, 2003...that is a major factor to our poor economy
I'm not Arnold's biggest fan but have always understood him as practical in calling out both parties

even if we disagree on alot of things can you imagine if we stuck together, put the bullshit off to the side and helped each other? we HAVE to do something. whenever i have helped someone i never asked "are you dem or repub" come on. we can fight later. my hand is out.

If a guy has to call himself "common sense joe the plumber who loves liberty " or something ridiculously literal like that he must be a genius so I will only go to a serious forum like YOUBOOB and listen to him for all my advice!

GET DOWN!!! DO IT NOW!!!!

@AriannaHuffington Yepp much better to have those people unemployed.

The other problem is that most of these alleged jobs are in the public sector. So now we've created jobs that need to be supported by fewer workers in the private sector. Brilliant.

Schwarzenegger needs us to bail california out for the tune of 600 billion dollars.

You have to create jobs! You cannot tax your way out of a recession. Cut benefits to state workers. Cut benefits to illegal aliens. I have worked for state government before, and I can tell you that more money is wasted than you can imagine.

Does the term "net" mean nothing to these people? You cannot spend nearly a trillion dollars and not create some jobs. The problem is MORE jobs were lost than were created. The stimulus was NOT a economic stimulus, but pay back to those who help get the President elected. Who is going to pay these people when the money runs out, Arnold? This is just more of the same stuff that Clinton. Funding a job for three years, knowing full well that the person is going to be let go in the end.
For all his flaws, he's one of the few Republicans I have an ounce of respect for...
