The Bomb Squad - Episode 2

After a missile strike kills an insurgent laying an IED, bomb disposal operator Rod and his team are dropped into the area by helicopter to investigate. Captured on helmet camera, we see what Rod sees as he is standing over the bomb, which could kill him if he makes one wrong move.

Three months into their tour, Search Team 9 have already taken casualties. They have lost three team members but they're still at the front searching for IEDs and they are about to search one of the most dangerous villages in Helmand.

funny fact: in vietnam, a tank commander Ralph "zippo" zumbro found a pre-placed charge under his tank with wires running to a car battery. so they swithed the charge with a light bulb and pre-set the coordinates to the battery. that night the bulb turned on and the tank aimed to the coordinates and fired their main gun and nailed the v.c.!!! the only reason the afhgans help the taliban is, they can either pay taxes and get beaten by tax collectors of the afghan government, or they can pay taxes to the taliban for their opium/poppy sales and cache taliban weapons and actually be treated decently!!! the taliban WILL beat people for holding out on them!!

@Butcherboytroy yo smart dude. the US went there thinking that they are saving the bastards from tyranny and promote democracy. While Bush was thinking he (and his supporters) could make money from controlling the oil rich country we call Iraq.

If these Iraqis were to go to your country and invade you and declare all of you "free" and that they are "saving" you right now, I don't think you'll be welcoming them with open arms.
