Just got back from my return trip 2 weeks ago. Stayed in Tucumcari both going and coming home. I love this stretch of highway. Absolutely love it. It's a perfect way to start the day heading west. Dreary TX panhandle behind you, and that beautiful stretch of New Mexico ahead. I've decided.....NM is our most beautiful state.

i took the same highway on the way to vegas and we stayed in tucumcari. what a great ride. hey is that a chicago city sticker i see on your window? im from chicago.
