but thats say us that the filmmakers like the evil dead movies ;)

and when you think about wes cravens new nightmare... the complete movie makes no sense...

Bruce: Can Ash kill Freddy or Jason?

New Line: No he can't, cause we can't end the series right there.

Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash would have been a great way to end the original franchises with the original actors (Kane Hodder & Robert Englund) in place and then move on with remaking Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street... but nope, lets not do anything the fans want to see.

@Regenbogenprinz2 Well, New Nightmare is supposed to take place in the real world, not the fictional setting of the Nightmare movies. It's actually NOT about Freddy, but rather some kind of terror beast that likes the Freddy character, so he poses as him now that he's not contained by the films any more. Took me like five viewings to actually understand and ENJOY that film.

The comic was awesome.Jason is a Deadite resurrected by his mother who used the Necronomicon which was shown in Jason Goes to Hell.And in the FVSJVSA comic sequal Freddy and Jason lead a deadite army against Washington dc!

theres PROOF that they are going to make freddy vs jason vs ash movie cause in jason goes to hell movie the guy found the book of the dead in the voorhees house and at the end of the movie freddys hand comes up and grabs jasons mask
