@sarafranco100 you are one dumb retarded self hating vile piece of shit. i dont like engaging in swearing on here but you really are ignorant. you must know nothing about black hair then. the difference between very curly hair and straight is that straight hair falls as it grows were as curly hair's length is very decieving as it curls in and up and doesnt really show its true length until pulled or straightened. please get a life and stop talking about things you know jack shit about lol..

U are so well educated! Im completely natural, but i love the pressed look, and instead of paying a stylist to use a hot comb on my head everyt two weeks Im definitely going to go get the feather iron.Itll come in handy since im going to college this upcoming fall. Thanks for the wonderful video! :)

I wish they had this when I was a child peeling scabs off my ears. Now that I've gone natural I never straighten my hair. I don't like having to worry about rain or shower caps or avoiding hot saunas and swimming pools. I wash several times a week to refresh my curls. It's great. But if I ever consider straightening I may look you up.

I'm ten months natural and I planned on straightening my hair on my one year anniversary so I'm considering getting the feather flat iron soon. I'm also a licensed cosmetologist so I know all about the marcel irons and stove just gotta be careful with the heat and use heat protectant
Miss Ebo, I agree you need to be careful, however with that said the electrical irons (ceramic) because of ease of usage have been used to abuse hair. With my Milstan Marcel Type Irons and a Thermal Oven that has a thermostat heat control you have total control over the heat of the iron. With Marcel Irons it is not the iron that burns hair it is the user. The type of hair damage that I am seeing over the pass (18) years has been almost strickly from the electric iron not the Marcel Iron.
