This locally produced spot aired in the San Jose, California area during 1987. Regal Dodge replaced the well known Pete Ellis Dodge. Check my channel for Pete Ellis Dodge commercials.
Ads like these were borderline scams. Brag about the inexpensive options such as painted bumpers, snack tray and hubcaps. The only vans available at the dealer also had the OPTIONAL automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, power windows/locks etc. Add destination, doc and hidden fees and the price jumps from $11988 to $20000.
Of course they could order the stripped down version and you'd have a miserable to drive stick shift cargo van with a conversion interior.
@19psi i would actually buy the stripped down version with stick shift becouse i dont like automatics and i can paint my own fuckin bumper.
