Police are the worst criminals. They dont care about you, they want to control and get aways with anything. And if you put a camera on them while they are doing illegal things, then they will take it away from you and, naturally, erase your film. Or drop the camera, by accident. Thay are out of luck. They tend to drop things so you dont have anymore evidence.
