This is an amazing fly! I have had great success using this fly in the saltwater backcountry of Everglades National Park for redfish, snook, baby tarpon, and black drum. I tie it with no weighted bead, no eyes, and I add a double weed guard to keep it out of the weeds and mangroves. Being weightless makes it rides high in the water column, making it great for the shallow water I fish. But perhaps the best thing about this fly is how easy it is to tie.
