Significant bipartisan work has built consensus around dramatic improvements to the original Bush-Paulson plan to stabilize American financial markets—including requiring a plan to ensure the taxpayer is repaid in full. • Nancy Pelosi is willing to fight for the middle class in this country. We need more politicians like her!

  • lol.

as long as she is out of office@orlandobizbroker

  • This person needs to be exiled from our USA. She is a complete disgrace to the american people and she firmly and I repeat firmly believes that she is elite and above the people. to her i say"Suck my D..ck" oh no never mind, you are not worthy.

    America hates you

  • Is it true she said " To prove I'm not lying I'll show you how I can make a wrinkle in my forehead when speaking!"

  • So. Much. Love.

Look at her trying to help the WHOLE country and taking oversight so seriously. I have so much respect for this woman.

  • bipartisan doesn't exist. it's a nice dog and pony show but that Bailout IS taxation without representation. aka. THEFT of the American People.

    Nancy, how dare you?

  • did. She passed it anyways, with a grin on her face. Is Pelosi really this evil?

  • We have an unbridled free market? huh? are you high Madame Speaker?

Ever heard of the Federal Reserve, the FTC, EPA, IRS, FDIC, NLRB, OSHA, FAA, FCC, SEC, HUD, WPA, TVA, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, the Community Reinvestment Act?

Are you really that crazy, Madame Speaker?

  • Fannie Mae: returned in 1999 as CEO.

On December 21, 2004 Raines accepted what he called early retirement from his position as CEO while U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigators continued to investigate corruption.

Jamie Gorelik also left the Clinton Administration and went to work for Fannie Mae.

During her 6 year period with Fannie Mae she "earned" more than $26 million!

  • And have you heard of former Fannie Mae CEO Franklin Raines? His fingerprints are all over this mess from the start.

    Carter Administration:

he was associate director for economics and government in the Office of Management and Budget and assistant director of the White House Domestic Policy Staff from 1977 to 1979.

Fannie Mae: Vice Chairman from 1991 to 1996.

Clinton Administration: he was the Director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, where he served until 1998.
