Sir, It is so nice at the end of a day to find a new film from you. Your films are so imformative, down to earth, and just plain nice.

Your assessment of battery powered drills at ~3:00 is absolutely hysterical, particularly
because it is so true. I've watched it about 10 times and am still in tears.

What brands of drill bits do you prefer most?

@yipyapcyberdude He got me with that one too! It was like a sucker punch joke. I never saw it coming.

I have a Black and Decker $30 drill. I used the cheapest drill bits K-Mart had for like $2. Do you think that is why it did not really drill deep in the wall? Is it the drill or the the drill bits that really matter? Thanks

@Phalastinia the bits

I bought a $50 drill bit set at a local tool supply and I used a couple of the bits for a few hours and they became dull.I know they are cheap but I think they should have lasted longer than that.I took them back and they wouldnt do anything,they told me if you dont use oil they wont last.
I told them they are junk and I have bits that I have used for years and never used oil or sharpened and they work fine.I think they could have at least tried to send them back or something.

Is it necessary to gradually increase the drill bit size or can you just drill a pilot hole and then go straight to the final size? I drill a lot of 1/2 inch holes and I usually step up the size 3 or 4 times before going to 1/2. Thanks

@themeaningoflife38 Just drill a 1/4" pilot--then the 1/2" bit.
