I still think the issue was not the content of her commentary, but rather the volume with which she delivered her opinion. It could have been just a simple mistake that Shriver should have corrected by simply lowering her voice after Blake made her aware...but instead she chose to pick a fight. That was inexcusable and she should have been ejected.

@jobuck87 I respectfully disagree. I think that simply playing on the tour is an accomplishment significant enough to suggest that she knows tennis and her work covering tennis has convinced me she is top flight journalist. But again, that's just my opinion.

I don't think she said anything in appropriate. He needs to really focus on the match instead of the commentators.

Pam Shriver is so rude speaking loudly and negatively about him while he is playing on court. I'm sure it bothered him. Last year she made a fool out of Melanie Oudin's 9 year old sister at the US Open covering her eyes and asking her to spell the word BELIEVE that was on her tee shirt that she was wearing. I think her time is up on commentating. I wish the networks would think twice about renewing her contracts. It's time to get rid of her. Many viewers don't like her.
