Building your own Simple Laser Projector using the Microchip PIC12F683 Microcontroller

The 8 pins PIC12F683 microcontroller is one of the smallest members of the Microchip 8-bit microcontroller families but equipped with powerful peripherals such as ADC and PWM capabilities. This make this tiny microcontroller is suitable for controlling the DC motor speed. In order to demonstrate the PIC12F683 capabilities and to make this tutorial more attractive, I decided to use the PIC12F683 microcontroller to generate simple and yet fascinating laser light show from a cheap keychain laser pointer. hi, i'm interested in your project. I would like to ask you if we can project a word like "hello" or something. Next can pic167877A be used to replace the PIC12F683 that you are using in this video? That's because i can't find PIC 12F683 in my country, Malaysia.

@methyllx , Yes you could change the Microchip PIC12F683 microcontroller with PIC16F877A but you need to make some modification on the firmware. With the simple mirror reflector in this project, you could not make even a simple letter, it need more complex reflector in order to create a letter.
