This is the Tesla Coil at the Mid America Science Museum in Hot Springs, AR. Danielle, Elissa, and I went down there yesterday. I knew it was fixing to go off, the guy even counted down, and I still flinched when it started up. haha

  • nice teisla coil quiet aswell what spark gap dose this one run on ""rotary"" or ""arsg""?

  • Try putting down some double sided scotch tape or something on each side of the cone to hold the wire in place while you spin it up.

  • ive allways wanted to build a conical coil like that but each turn keeps folding underneath the other every time i try
