Marvelous! Actually this is my first time seeing a young person playing a renaissance lute! I wish I had such opportunity when I was young.

Fine performance--and I'm impressed with the EMS lute. Can you tell me if the tab for the jig is available online? I'd like to learn it.

Thanks,
Yeah, the EMS lute is a lot better than a lot of people seem to think........
See PM about the tab.

Really enjoyed this performance, Jamie. Did you make any modifications to your lute or is it as EMS made it? Also, how did you learn?

Pretty much straight out of the box with the addition of the strap. (although I'm not using it here, I sit on it and it's good!) There seems to be a lot of looking down upon EMS lutes for some reason but I've found the sound (certainly for the price) lovely - but then again I haven't played many lutes to compare it with. Luckily there was a music student at my local university who plays the lute - a very good teacher despite not having any previous teaching training or students to my knowledge.
