Fire Alarm Turns Into A House Fire(Suspected Arson) In Merrillville Indiana

Crews from stations 1 and 2 were dispatched to a reported fire alarm at 622 east 92nd ave, before anyone was en route pd advised heavy smoke showing from a single family dwelling and a working fire. At that time mutual aid and stations 3 and 4 were toned out. All residents were accounted for and nobody was hurt at the fire scene. Investigators reported multiple points of origin and the house was badly damaged by flood waters. Other reports say the homeowners did not have flood insurance.

I try to make to all of them, this was was a have to. Came in as a fire alarm, then PD reports a working fire before anyone was en route. Tore out of the house like a bat out of hell!!! Thanks for the comment and see you soon Mike.
