southern tv made some great programs.strange how now we think we are so lucky with so many channels but dave showing old stuff is strangely popular.

Also, I seem to remember the the top prizes were frequently a Raleigh Chopper bike, or a portable tv (probably black & white, but you never know!)
On a further note, when standing on those bloody silly queues at airport "security", I've often been tempted when I see everyone queueing at the one metal detector, when there's another two or three vacant, I want to yell "Runarounddddddddd - NOW!"

What i always used to wonder...even as a kid.....is "Why the f##k do you run into an answer knowing its wrong....only to hop into the RIGHT answer"..Waste of energy really!.....They dont make em like this anymore though!.Nice post!..Brought back memories!

I was on Runaround when the guests were a group called Liverpool Express, we were all given a copy of their single, Every Man Must Have A Dream! It was a great day out, and so much fun to play. I didn't win but totally enjoyed myself! :o)

I used to watch this as a child in the 80s and it brings back good memories. not like today the children do not get good things its mostly rubbish.. do more showns like this one, kids today would love it Iam now in my 30s
