It's not overpriced if there's no competition. I built myself a lower powered ebike for $800, works great for commuting. Building a powerful ebike isn't as easy as some would have you believe.

You could build one that is really close to the original specs under 2500 usd if you got a little electrical knowledge. These things are still way too expensive for what they cost to build.

See what people are missing, is that this is a replacement for a car in some area's. If you live in a urban area, you can commute with this daily, then take it to the woods and have some mountain biking fun on a weekend. Not to mention it only takes 2hrs to charge and goes 50miles at 50mph.. This thing is dope.. Now if it would just not snow here..

@paladain55 but thing is it would not look as cool as the stealth and it would be to loud, the stealth has its name for a reason and they do go pretty far on one charge to, so the stealth is a win!!! really

@MEL04MVP They cost about $9,900.00. If you want the upgraded fork add $1,100.00. Want the Upgraded brakes $200.00 Front and $200.00 Rear. Extra Battery $1850.00. There is a tire option too. Then there is shipping and taxes.
