The Artist
Lil' Cute is a ragga/dancehall artist, born in Suriname on the 24th of july 1979, and is currently living in Belgium.
From his childhood he listened to reggae music, and was inspired by artists such as Peter Tosh, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Bounty Killa, Beanie man, and many more artists.
He was also raised with several other genres of music such as, Soul, Salsa and Merengue, Rock and Roll and Pop music. Lil' Cutes current songs were influenced by all those genres, because the dancehall music Lil' Cute makes is not like any other dancehall music. All those genres he grew up with are all interwoven in his music.
Lil' Cute went to The Netherlands (Europe) when he was 24 years of age. Within the first year of being in the Netherlands he worked with big Dutch producers and artists such as; Def Rhymes, Replay, DJ Irwan, Sat-R-Day, Ebony, Georgio Tuinfort, Papa Bear, Mastagot, Diëlie and Rutger 'Rutti' Kroese.
All of this, he achieved, while Lil' Cute was illegally staying in the Netherlands, not able to tell anyone the reason he could not move as flexibly and freely as anybody else.

The next period he worked with Jay-Kay (Dutch Idols Finalist) and Stunna , where he was a featuring artist in the Exchange Project (fun-X Radio). After this period Lil' Cute took a short break from the music scene to take care of his first born, his second child and girlfriend. He was also setting up a business for himself. He started a barber shop.

The Bussiness

Shortly before Lil' Cute met SoniQ (a singer songwriter and producer) at a studio, on the same block his barbershop was located. Since then they started hanging out together and making music together. Behind the music they started doing business together and they started a business called The Empire™.

Together with his girlfriend he started two children daycare centres and the third one is in progress.
Together with SoniQ he started a company called The Empire™ that is still in the making. The Empire™ is an all-round entertainment company, containing; recording studios, a production company, Art/web design, a video/film company, several magazines, business consultancy, modeling agencies and much more.
The Empire™ (entertainment) worked with International artists and stars, such as; Gyptian, Bobby Valentino, Alpha Blondy Tyga, Turbulence, Gentleman, Luciano , Warrior King and Morgan Heritage. The Empire™ has yet a lot more in store. There is a restaurant, a luxury car rental, a hotel and much more in progress.

The Career

What more can we expect from someone who says: 'Not even the sky is the limit."
Lil Cute has invested a lot in his family and in getting his businesses together. Now he feels that he can share his experiences, feelings and thoughts with the world.
Lil'Cute is scheduled to go to Jamaica in the fall of 2011 and record his self titled debut album, with the help of several Jamaican and international superstars, such as Gyptian and Bounty Killa, supervised by none other than Mister T., the former manager of The Musical Youth.
The album is due for summer 2012.
