@ArmadaRanger They have been killing eachother since the dawn of Men in Africa (and the rest of the world). Only thing is that weapons have gotten more effective and we could end the life on Eath if we wanted do. And even though civlian casualties are higher in nowadays wars (in absolute numbers), there has hardly been a war, that whiped nations off the earth for a long time (my point is that war affects less people, at least as a percentage of all people).

@xxxrrrxxxrrr Maybe is gotten “calmer” to you who lives between 4 walls. But when you go out, to the REAL world, you’ll see we’ve only gotten worse and worse. Also, I forgot to mention, there is a holocaust happening in Africa since 2007... So much propaganda wasted for “never again”, and we won’t even try.

@ArmadaRanger You can name these, but in 18th century, there wasn't a year when you hadn't been in war with someone in Europe. For our entire history, war has been something that has been a permanent thing, only nowadays we start to see, that wars are indeed bad. I'm not saying we live in an ideal planet of peace and happiness, but I'm putting things in perspective. World has gotten alot calmer.

@xxxrrrxxxrrr In the last 65 years? 1946; (After World War ll, the start of the Cold Era/War), 1950 (The start of the Korean-War), 1960's-1970's VietnamWar, 1963' assassination of President John F.Kennedy, 1990's <'Mogadishu conflict, 2001 (9-11; terrorist attack on the World Trade Center), 2001 (declaration of war on Afghan and Iraq), 2009 Russia's 'small' conflict with Georgia, 2011 Libya's-war (assassination of Qadaffi)... We haven't had "PEACE" since we humans got to Earth brother.

When people tell me that they haven't seen a good Nic Cage movie since the 90's, I refer them to THIS movie

one of the best movies ever produced, very nice scenes and songs that relate to scenes, great moral.. very sad however that it didn't take the noise it should had.
thumbs up if u think this movie is one of the best in this century
