Quelle intensité retenue dans ce prélude! Quelle force intérieure... Dommage que l'on a une approche trop vite carécatural de la musique de Vierne. Pourtant il s'ait bien mettre en valeur les caractèristique sonore particulière des Cavaillé-Coll

Yes, you're right! And we can say that Cochereau is the most brilliant interpreter of Vierne organ music. Not too slow, lethargic and boring.
