it would have been a swell idea to put the dipstick back in before blowing all the debris around.

Hiya, I have a question you might be able to answer, I have a 2000 Silverado 2500, 6 litre with about 330,000 kms on 'er. It shakes and bucks when under load like going up hill, I really do not believe it is my tranny, at least I hope not, lol. I hooked my truck up to my ODB2 reader and it gave me the code P0356, I cleared the code and it has not come back but it still is shaking and bucking. Any ideas? On a side note, what do you think of Seafoam?

I think that code is for an Ignition Coil, sounds like you have an ignition problem. Its ether a coil or a plug wire. Doe your code reader tell you what cylinder it is? If so you can move that coil over and swap it with the one beside it. If the code changes and it says its a different cylinder then its the coil, if it dose not change then its a plug wire. You can change things around untill you find out what it is. You can even swap plugs to a different hole. Sea foan can hurt anything

@ShawnCFarm it is #6 coil, my reader has not thrown that code since I erased it so I am stumped as to what the frak is going on, lol. Thanks for the advice, just to confirm, you say SeaFoam cannot hurt anything?

@daarrve Try swamping the coild to another cylinder. If the codes comes back and moves to a different cylinder ,its the coil. If you use it right the seafoam will clean the inside of your motor. I've never tryed it but I hear it works good.
