@Aetherthree The problem lies in your last sentence. All human life? So cats and dogs and any wildlife are worthless? Before saying all life or human life is sacred, you may want to think about WHY it's sacred. Can't we all feel pain, don't we all have emotions? We're all conscious/sentient. A fetus has none of these traits, making it about as conscious and moral-worthy as a plant. You condemn the idea that life is expendable, yet only make reservations for your species and by proxy, your life?
The whole point is that life is sacred. The death penalty lies in opposition to that and so does abortion.
Women have the right to kill their own children, but what does that say about the society promoting it. Its says that in this society, life is expendable, and subservient to individual will. I'm no Christian but to me all human life is sacred.
