Excellent goal? No. Notable? Yes, as it was one of the two he scored that year. Then again, scoring was never his primary role -- except on set pieces -- because he was a defender. Still, there's nothing quite like being in the right place at the right time.

@guacadu Actually, no it wasn't. The first guy was onsides when the pass was made, and Lalas was behind him when the ball was shot, so by all accounts he's onsides.

FTR: I uploaded this video after I told a friend of mine Stateside that Lalas scored against my team (AC Milan) back in the 90's and they didn't believe me. So there you have it.
