The military has pitched camp in Ol Maroroi village near Ngong for a month long exercise to mop up all unexploded devices left in the area. The exercise follows the death of five children, killed when a device they stumbled upon exploded in their faces. Irene Choge reports.
@almunjama : Lol....great observation! I'm asking the school superintendent (DEO) in Kajiado to organize awareness lessons for all school pupils....after all they're the victims....sadly in the front line....line of fire....its children that look after livestock here and they're so curious!

@siasabora We as Kenya military can not help with accounting our explosives during training. You villagers need some lessons since we are naturally careless. I saw no kids in the bomb classes......what a waste!!!

Thanks Kenya Army...never too late to rectify operational blunders. Now move your range to Turkana County...plenty of marauding alien militias for target practice!
