did they really need to say how many votes seperated 1st and 2nd place,right there at the ceremony? i thought that was kind of tacky. that could have been done, after the honoring of the winner.

I disagree. I don't understand how Toby could possibly mean more to Stanford than Ingram did to Bama. Stanford already had a Heisman winner before Toby was even in this particular race. Ingram was Alabama's first.
