so if you can build more muscle than you are gaining more MASS. You even said it "just stronger and more capable of gaining muscles." Muscles are a form of MASS and do make you heavier...and I'm trying to tell you that gymnasts don't need steroids, because they are trying to be lean as possible. They would have no reason to take steroids because in fact it actually harmful to their joint flexibility. How's that for concrete? I'm not just some meat head, so see what you have to say in return

Whow. You're just proving my point. You said: "if you CAN build more muscle" "steroids CAN equal mass". Ofc, you get more testosterone. The testosterone will however NOT equal mass. Unless you eat more calories than you consume you will not gain weight (regardless if it is fat or muscles the mass consists of). THIS IS IT. You will not heavier if you dont eat more calories than you consume. If you inject steroids, and keep your normal diet, you will more likely LOSE weight since - read next msg-

since the testosterone will increase your metabolism. In the long run, steroids will harm your (almost) whole body. But in the short run, it's quite harmless. Steroids do not affect flexibility in any way at all. There are no studies which shows that. If you keep your usual training schedule and diet and inject steroids, the only difference will be an increase of strenght.

well I think we are confusing each other, and it does ruin (JOINT flexibility) it's been proven, but haven't heard anything about muscle flexibility being hindered. Also, I'm just saying with testosterone you have the ability to build more mass, even when you do have the same diet, that's what I'm trying to say.

There is a vast difference between having the ability to gain mass and actually gaining mass.

If there is a study proving that joint flexibility is ruined by steroids, I would love to see it.

There is a lot of information on the internet about it, but I wouldn't site any sources because there not credible, but I've read that in men's health magazines and studies from numerous doctors.

If you ever read about studies you know that they are often made with hidden motives. If you do not know how the study is done, there is no possible way of telling how true it is. A study can also be repeated until it gives the result you want. When you got the result you're after, you can publish just that part.
I am having a hard time believing that they would make fair studies to illegal drugs.

This is a fun discussion, but we have not got much of a basis to keep it going.
Best regards.

I agree.

Gymnasts need strong muscles not big or more muscles. You need to gain more strength in comparison to weight..
