All great performaces but I would have loved to see Jaye Davidson win for the Crying Game. He was outstanding. Jaye Davidson made history as the first Black English Actor to be nominated for an Academy Award.

@MyMerlin1 I don't think that was the issue here, and I think it would have been the same story if this had been hosted by the British. The world in general just isn't ready for anyone so alternative as JD and heshe is likewise not ready for the attention.

Davidson should have won. End of discussion. Rea was robbed that year as well. Richardson should have received a nom too. Such a shame.
