The good - Finally, a zombie game that mixes old and new. Wonderful environments that truly give the player that feeling of a world destroyed by the zombie apocalypse. Lot's a different looking zombies that will chase you relentlessly. Different classes of zombies such the old school standard zombie and modern day "Infected" add character to this title. Zombies in general look and sound intimidating. The general ambiance of the game is always creepy and unforgiving. Melee combat is intense, allowing players to smite the zombie horde with a plethora of weapons ranging from every day sticks to fire axes and machetes. Upgrading weapons with mods is rewarding. New Game+!! 90% of the zombies are black!! Stereotyping at it's finest.

The bad - Graphical issues hinder this title. Frame rate dips, graphical hiccups, and screen tearing haunt this action packed adventure. Sound effects tend randomly go on and off. Online coop is a lag filled joke that barley works. The menu system is hard to manage. Controls feel off, even with modification.
