Have added the EOPD sensor to the GELway to detect if it is upright or fallen over. This allows the robot to restart the balance by its self, rather than manually telling it to reset. Obstacle avoidance has also been added using the UltraSonic sensor to detect obstacles.

  • Yeh I am using a gyro sensor. I have seen balancing robots with light sensors but I imagine it would be harder to move those robots around. I move forwards and backwards by applying a ramp response to the gyro angle.

  • Are you using the gyro sensor?

I tried building something alike just with the light sensor, it works a bit ;P :D

  • thank you, i've put a lot of work into him =)

  • sweet little robot dude
