@msixpackabs People don't understand that there are sugars and some carbs in carrots, onions, tomatoes etc. By eating plenty of raw veggies and fruit based on energy output you can have more energy and strength than the carb eater. It is far easier to maintain blood sugar when you don't have over-abundance of it like complex carb eaters. I have lost about 6 lbs. of water weight in 4 days after starting Paleo again with understanding of how it works this time. People need to understand first.

pt 2.....
Fruits can be unhealthy IF you're also eating a lot of fat (the 2 get in each others way)
So a high carb diet can be healthy, and weight often normalizes. And I think it's easier to stick to.
Books about this way of eating are: "Fit for Live" and "The 80/10/10 diet".

@msixpackabs Excuse the extremely late reply, but I don't want anyone to think this is correct.
To say that potatoes have no nutrients is not only wrong, it's misleading. If you're looking to lose weight, no you won't get there by eating potatoes. That doesn't make them unhealthy. Potatoes are full of fiber and vitamins and essential minerals.

Short example:
Nov 22nd
Breakfast: 100 ml of sour cream (needed some fats to boost my energy level)
Lunch: 750ml of fat free yogurt (yogurt is carbs filed) + 500g of fat free cheese (carbs again...but less than in yogurt). Why this choice???? Because of the proteins i need to maintain the muscular mass i gained and both of these foods are rich in proteins...& carbs unfortunately (this is the reason they have to be fat free...not to mix carbs with fats)
Tonight: A salad + water tuna
end of day

I am a NO TO FRUITS but yes to the veggies (except for carrots).
POTATOES are the worst food. They were actually feeding the pigs with them.
Potatoes are nothing but CARBS..no nutrients no nothing. The french fries are a mixture of CARBS & FATS....LETHAL CHOICE! As you already know i am doing the dissociated life style....try to avoid as much as possible MIXING FATS & CARBS.
No to french potatoes, no to sugar in coffee (yes...coffee contains fats), no salads with mayonnaise....

The smash potatoes....my drama.
OMG...Bonnie....I rather let you discover the week points of your diet...because there are some.
But 97% of what you said is true and I guess we both know that i am in title to "say things" now.
I am sorry for the fruits concept dying...but that's it.
Fruits are not part of my life...for more than 6 months.
I would relate your "cravings" after having fruits to the acid they contain and which affect the stomach.
Hi, Bonnie. It's been a year and a half since this vid, and you're still battling the bulge. You've done a lot of studying on low-carb diets. But have you read from the other side?
I'm a pro-carb eater, and here's my comments:
The orange juice every morning isn't very good. Juice is refined from the fiber.
You said "I ate stuff that said low-fat on the package" - The problem is "packaged". Processed, refined, cooked, altered food is where the problem lies - absorbs to fast

Grains were healthier when you were a child. They sure aren't anymore. They are to full of man made crap that our bodies can't digest, of course you know all that by now.
I eat fruit, lots of it, to much sometimes, I don't lose when I do but I don't gain either. It is other crap that puts it on me, like M&M's, peanuts and dried fruit.
You are a great inspiration. I love your videos.
I want to eliminate more fruit. Down to two a day would be great for me.
You made me want to try it.
