This Rigid power washer is fantastic. This model does not have a throttle, it runs wide open. Starts first pull, the Subaru is a great engine, but the fuel today really sucks with ethanol. So, I suggest you only use what you think you will use on a job and/or add Seafoam to the fuel to prevent the carb from gumming up. I highly recommend this powerwasher, used it 10/25/11, still works perfect.

  • I lost my knob on the soap dispenser can I get another one at home depot? And I was waiting on you to get back with me about how many rubber washers are inside the soap knob. Thank you

  • @quayquon Oh, I doubt you can buy that at Home Depot. They aren't good with parts like that. Just email Rigid on their website- with your model number and serial number. They'll likely send you one for free. Sorry, forgot about that soap knob. I only see one in the soap knob.

  • I'm having so much trouble changing tips ,it would not come out .can u help.

  • @idali47 Sure can try. Try pushing down on the tip first a few times to free it up. Make sure there isn't ANY pressure in the line first. Push down on the tip while turning AND pulling the brass fitting. I've found that on these units the brass couplings do not like to let go. I've usually had to turn them while pulling them down to release the hose or release the tip. Hope that helps, let me know ok?

  • plz do not buy that junk spend the extra cash and commercial 13 hp honda 4 gal a min

  • @DOUBLECHEESE1144 Maybe for a commercial application, but certainly not for a homeowner. 13hp and 4 gallons per minute would ruin most of the surfaces I clean. You can't use that kind of power on stamped concrete, it would remove paint from garage doors and likely ruin siding. This Rigid is a great power washer, used it last week it works fantastic.

  • I have this same power washer. It has never failed me. Each fall I fill-er up with LL100 (AV gas) and forget about it until I fire it up in the spring. The QD's are steel fittings that will begin to corrode over time. I just give them a good coat of spray lube every now and again. So far, so good. Oh, one thing..the hair pin/cotter pin that holds the wheels on sometimes vibrate free and the wheel falls off...random..

  • Thanks for the infor,I will give it a good try hope it works ,on pulling the tip cause i put some WD-40 and push and pull and got no place ,I will lead you know, how i make out.

  • @pivotboy63 You're right, but I never leave gas in for an extended period of time and all my equipment gets used.

  • @mrwiggles2 a briggs will run absolutely forever if you properly maintain it. if you let it sit with gas in it for more than a few months, the carb will need to be cleaned because gas goes bad.
