In this video I unbox the Gateway NV52 laptop. It has a 15.6 inch (1366x768) LED backlit display, 2.1 GHz AMD Athlon X2 QL-65 dual core processor, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, 4 GB of RAM, 320 GB hard drive, draft wireless-N networking, dual layer DVD burner and Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

  • How much did u get this for?

  • @wetowels I bought it from Best Buy last year for $450 excluding tax.

  • does it get hot? and if so how hot?

  • @bibby42 It does warm up some when it's really working, but it's not that bad.

  • hows this laptop so far? hows Gateway? Im looking to buy this laptop(save up).

  • @DengrayKai211 Excellent, I'm very satisfied with it. It could be a bit more powerful, but for the price I'm absolutely not complaining.

  • I love this laptop. Mine is 3 years old and it still preforms. I can play Minecraft 1.2.3 on far settings with high graphics at about 30 - 40 frames per second. I believe that last time I played Fallout 3 on it (which is a couple years ago) it ran at about 25 FPS on moderate detail. Remember to update your Radeon Drivers though. Each update I find that the performance is improving. The only complaint that I have with it is the Shell. It is cheap crap.

  • Ha, the screen on this laptop is easy to break mine is broken but still works fine I hooked a monitor to it. but I was installing updates to the computer, and now its showing a black screen with a blinking underscore in the top left. Yeah I tried using a recovery disc the disc's name is Windows Me which I think is a outdated os for the laptop I need a Windows Vista recovery disc but I cannot find any and a recovery disc did not come with it. Anyone can help me find a recovery disc for it?

  • @sssw441 I have one, I love it, but be careful, screen break is easy, but its fixable yourself for around 80 dollars, best buy will charge 200 dollars, and they refused to fix mine one week after I bought it.

  • I have become a gateway fanboy I think, owning 2 and saving for a third, but, I will never buy from best buy again, they are so fricken rude if you dont look like a million bucks.....

  • I'm getting a gateway netbook.

  • ya for that much its worth it

  • Is the gateway NV57 good for gaming? Like call of duty world at war

  • When I try to play games with my power "tweaks" it tends to overheat. Its OK, but I wouldn't even try to play games newer than 2005, I mean, HEY, ITS A LAPTOP!
