@Austyg yes it has a stall speed of less than 40 mph because of the new LSA category pilots license.most aircraft have a 4:1 glide ratio.it depends mostly on altitude and speed.

12 years on the Air Force around all kinds of military and even civilian aircraft, Not flying mind you. But I love aircraft and flying. If I had the opportunity to take one of these babies up for a flight, I'd have a BALL. I think it's Great!! If I had the funds for one, I'd say "to Heck with the motorcycle idea! I want THIS!!" The last motorcycle I considered the "poor man's fighter jet" since I never got to fly in one. I'd LOVE to have one of these! Great job ICON Aircraft!

It looks really nice and something I'd love to "tour" in, but 105 knots maximum speed, 300 miles range and a baggage capacity (according to their website) of 60lbs really doesn't really cut it.

I'll take a turboprop real plane - even used. A Turboprop Goose would be perfect, although that would cost a bit more if new.
