  • The Jody Jazz HR model has a nice darker sound for traditional jazz sounding soprano. I have been meaning to get one as I like to experiment with different sounds.

  • Can I have this piece if you don't want it?

    Lol

  • All I can think of is Bruce Almighty: "Hey Evan, do you like jazz?"

  • @cfny Thanks!

  • i love your style of playing! it doesn't have that whiny high-pitched R&B tone that kenny g's playing possesses

  • Other then some in tune issues, that a nice sound on the soprano man.

  • Hi, I'm have the same mouthpiece with the same opening, 8*. But I have some problem with the upper register. I use Rigotti reeds N2 strong. Probably the problem is in the reeds? Too Hard? I have to use 2 medium o 2 soft reeds?

What do you thing about? Thx.

  • Waaaaaaaay too bright.

  • Definitely harlem Nocturn, then improv, then some crazy sick gliss-like stuff, and a high G i think to finish. Nice. I cant play soprano that well, but i played Nocturn on tenor

  • I think the intonation is a little off with this piece - surprising for a Jody Jazz as his other pieces I've played were very good with it..
