GT5 - X2010 Monza Gold - S. Vettel Special Event

Welcome to a new GT5 Series I'm putting together showing only the most difficult events on the game. Each week/fortnight I'll be uploading a new video which shows a difficult challenge on the game being completed.

This is the first video in the series and we start with the most revered car on the game - the Red Bull X2010. This is the Sebastian Vettel challenge unlocked at level 30 and first we will deal with the easiest of the three - Monza.

The ability to cut the chicane here makes it significantly easier to complete than the other two in this special event, and is a must to getting the gold. This is a great way to ease yourself in to driving the X2010 - it is the first stepping stone to taming the beast.

In the video above you will be able to choose from four different views to suit how you drive personally so you can get tips on lines to take and where to brake. Also feel free to watch the whole video with all views to get a different taste of things.

I personally didn't find this challenge difficult at all and had it done within about 30 minutes. It was the first one I did and to be fair isn't that great of a performance - my runs on the other two tracks are much better. However all this is about is getting used to the car, and as soon you do the time should quickly come. I even had a poor second lap getting bogged down in the sand and still managed to get the gold, so this really isn't too difficult, especially compared to the other two tracks. Focus on golding this before you move on to those.
