  • well improper truss rod is just one of the possible causes for fret buzz and it's typically in the 5th to 10th register. most of the fret buzz occur because of poor leveling jobs or wrong neck angle. sometimes it is induced by old strings. so if you're buying a used guitar and it buzzes, it may just be the strings or maybe something beyond that like unleveled frets
