The amazing song "Boomerang," by Cirrus, really intrigued and blew me away when I first heard it- so naturally, I had to put my own take on it using Final Fantasy as my medium. FYI: I made this video approx...six years ago...and this was one of my very first attempts at a making an anime music video. Anyways,

Not that I've played much of the FF-series, but none of them have bad stories, nor do they have bad animations. FF8 has got really great animations, a great story, and along with the music I think in my opinion you completed it with this music-vid ^^
