A simple tutorial on loading images to the screen.
You can get the software needed by using the power of Google.
You can get Visual C Sharp Express 2008/10 for free.
And you'll need either XNA 3.0, 3.1, 4.0
Only XNA 4.0 will work with 2010
If anybody has any requests, ask!

Dude, I have looked up videos for simple Visual Basic for beginners, and they did horrible, i didnt learn anything from them, but I really liked the way you described what each thing does as you type it instead of just telling what to do. And I give you thumbs up for being the only guy who has loaded more then 1 or 2 freaking tutorials, people load tutorials to help people and stop after 2 videos which makes it pointless. WAY TO GO MAN!

@catkids34 in the editing program you need to erase the white background its pretty easy, just dont use paint, use paint.net or photoshop

@catkids34 But in the image editing program. paint.net or photoshop or whatever ur using, u are removing the white background so it´s transparent? Right?
Otherwise you have to get into the properties when you´ve loaded the picture in C# and make the colour white to be translated as transparent. Mark your content picture, in the properties window go to Content Processor, and give it the RGB of white, which is 255,255,255 i think.. Now the white pixels will be replaced with transparent pixels.
