Just got my Canon Xl-2 and took it for a test swim. This is my very first test footage of my hometown of Charleston,WV. Aspiring Filmmaker :)

@hitm4n04 This was shot straight out of the box 3 years ago and using windows movie maker for post production so that explains your interpretation of bad quality. The point of the video was to put something on here I hold close to my heart and that is my hometown of Charleston WV. At least i'm on here doing something productive and not trolling around leaving negative comments, you should try it sometime.

dang, you must have a great cell phone :) What kind? I wanna buy it. No, it's a great camera, it's the editing software that can bring down the quality. Check out FCRabatth's films then say that it has bad quality.

Thank You. This clip looks 100% better without youtube compression. The shots were filmed straight out of the box. I got the camera and went out for a day filming. So i guess the gain is set at factory standard settings. I have since learn how to tweak the settings for way better effects :) Thanks again for your comment.
