I also don't like the idea of holding the deck behind your back, but I do like this force and I think with a little misdirection you could pull it off with the deck in plain view of the spectators. I have a trick I do that involves flipping the deck twice during the trick and I usually use misdirection to accomplish this without hiding the deck behind my back or asking them to look a way for a second or something sketchy like that.

eh, not a fan. i like simple and non complicated. Holding the deck out of the spectators view .. shady lol. I want people to see the cards and not feel like its a trick.
