An eastbound BNSF empty grain train snakes through Yakima Canyon after conquering Stampede Pass. This train is on the Yakima Valley Subdivision and was chased to Toppenish, Washington on September 30th, 2007. While chasing the train, it met with two westbounds and picked up empty grain cars at Wymer, a passing siding in the middle of the canyon.

to that other location. What Kind of camera do you use?

  • I use a Sony TRV-280 modeled camcorder. What do you use?

  • I think there were a lot trains waiting for the other train to pass. When does the train give way to enter the siding?

  • This train was in the siding at Toppenish waiting for a baretable to pass.
