** FOR STEREO ** add &fmt=18 after the URL in the address box at the top of your browser. You should then, hopefully, be hearing it in stereo.

Or you can click on the link below but stop the current one playing first or you'll end up with 2 playing at the same time.

Unsigned home studio electronic music experimental made about 10 years ago with Atari, Cubase, Casio FZ-1 sampler, Yamaha DX7, Roland D50, Novation BassStation Rack and Mackie CR1604 mixer.

I'd taped, from a play on the radio, the words of a strange boy who said he was sending messages through his music. Obviously it had to be sampled and I made this music to put the sample in. While he was speaking there was some weird music playing so my music had to fit with that.

It's a bit experimental and none of my friends like it but I think it's got something - don't know what though. Feel free to insult it.

I'm putting my old music on YouTube so I can get some honest opinions about it and maybe some constructive criticism.

  • The first minut and 5:56 is freaking awsome. You need to keep that and use if for something new. The middle is good but the beginning and end is so cool and interesting it stands out. I especially like the obscure sampled stuff in your songs. Any sounds that have there own story or explanation, in my opinion, make the music/sound 3 dimensional. There's music I've made that was a minute long but would take 10 minutes to explaine the samples I used to make it.

  • Thanks again. Most of the music I've uploaded to YouTube was made many years ago and I don't really want to go back to it. I want to get rid of all that old equipment that's never used now and is just cluttering up my bedroom. I hope that one day you'll upload some of the music you've made. I have a feeling it will be interesting.

  • cool track, i like the artwork, hope to hear more of your work soon.

  • Thanks for all the kind comments madmomentsgo and thanks for subscribing. More music coming soon (when I can find the time).

  • This reminds me of intro to Peep Show from the first season before they used that Blink 182 song. I am not saying you copied, I am saying that song is awesome and I really like this one. You got some talent here, bud, it's just going to take an experienced listener to appreciate it. That's my problem too.

I mean, there's some obvious things that only a rookie would do in this song, but from an artistic instead of a technical aspect, it's awesome. The skills will come, stick with it.

  • Thanks ShogaNinja - I appreciate your kind comments. I was expecting words like 'boring' and 'crap'. I made this about 10 years ago (long before Peep Show) and I was going through an experimental phase.

  • 3.) I will definately upload some of my stuff now! You have inspired me. I will be doing that very very soon. I may even work on that today. Yes, it's very interesting stuff. Some potentially good, some not so good. But all interesting I assure you! Looking back it's been almost 10 years since I made my first song on MTV Music Generator for PS1! Wow, all that time and I still can't pick a Genre to stick with!

  • 2.) Getting rid of your old equipment....that's funny because the reason I've found your videos is because I was researching equipment I was buying(DX7IIFD, Boss DR-660, Xtreme Lead-1). I'm actually filling up my room with gear similar to yours, for several different reasons. Mostly cause it's going cheap nowdays and I kinda want a different sound than what's popular right now. I miss the 80's(I was only 8 when they ended). I guess I'm just trying to regain what I've missout out on.

  • 1.) I completely understand about not wanting to go back to it. It's more fun creating than it is refining. I've got lots of tracks I've made myself that I don't want to put the time in to remake, but I can't just get rid of them either. Theres just so much material that I think I made that was good, really good, but I just didn't have the resources/talent at the time to make something that was a truly a good song.

  • I know the feeling but instead of trying to resurrect every song from my past I try to view them as lessons learned. I don't necessarily always put them on public display.

BUT come check out my channel, I have one such a song called Anticipation, that's old but too cool to die. I got new songs too. Check em out I bet you love them.

Around 3:45 is the Peep Show part I was referring to. Keep doing your thing.
