2:28 - "All I can do is what comes naturally to me...If they (other groups) get their own sound together, that's the best thing, get your own sound..."
4:02 - "...every sound that we makes means something, it' not just some jam we slapped together, you know..."
4:54 - "...what we're doing is not protesting, but giving answers, some kind of solution..."
7:35 - "...they should get together and get their OWN thing together..."
Secret of Jimi Hendrix - he sounded like Jimi Hendrix.
God, I can't believe people are critiquing Jimi Hendrix's life and his life choices on someplace as lowbrow as YouTube. I come here to watch some cool vids and hopefully read some interesting comments, and here are these voids slamming one of the most inventive and gifted guitarists of his generation. That is sick and fucking sad.
I guess he wasn't referring to Clapton as the "Sour creme," but maybe, he was talking about Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce, because, I think Ginger Baker was not too nice to Jimi when he went to England..he didn't like Jimi.
Lifestraight, lol..you had me digging all over my book-shelves, anyway, look at page 25(in the book--An Illustrated Experience) and inside the little pocket, you will find a piece of paper where he wrote some of his rantings..He drew himself standing with his guitar in his hand, and a cigarette in his mouth..on the paper head, it says..GRROWWLL.. he said.."Goodbye cruel world--and Jimi..Signed: Eric Clapton + the sour creme.
I'm not denying he did, i just haven't heard that. I'll read up on it. As far as this wine story, I don't know...wouldn't this Jeffrey guy be charged and prosecuted for admitting to having him killed? But if u did READ this in the Animals bio, xxcan u direct me to it?
