Tibet's per capital GDP is more than the double of that of Burkina Faso. You may consider this as a result of China rule. I will bet that there are more street performers or beggars in Ouagadougou than in Lhasa.

this land cannot support the migrating chinese.just making it harder for the Tibetans to compete for Jobs. hardly anything grows here except barley, potatoes and other crops which are capable of growing at high temperatures. thats why Tibet's census was only 6 million in 1959.

People on this land do not have to live on the crop they grow there only. Can Manhattan support millions of people there? Actually, a major percentage of food consumed by people in Tibet is from other provinces of China.

I took this video. I have to say this: you can find kids doing these kinds of things: begging, selling stuffs, and so on, in all cities in all developing countries. It's sad to see a kid no in school, but this is more about economy than about rule/oppression.

In other words...just like the Native American children in the US were forced to go to Boarding schools that aimed to "teach the Indian out of them". Tibetan children in these too expensive schools aim at "teaching the Tibetan out of them" creating a subordinate version of Chinese citizens out of them.

huge number of chinese migrated in Tibet n still migrating since 1959..had cause immense of trouble for tibetan people's life. all beggers in Tibet r of its own people i,e tibetan. why chinese r so cruel? no sense of human being at all. chinese says Tibet is a part of china..then why they discrminate between tibetan people n chinese living in Tibet?
