I remember your ex C.E.O telling us at a RaeS conference that the cabin crew did line dancing as part of their training to teach them to tread quietly through the cabin?! thats clever
Guy's i flew on Silverjet many times, never forget where you come from, everthing you did you did it with style and class....silverclass. you were and still are great, wishing you all the very best for what ever you do!!! thanks for some great flights...007pinkcow...we miss you!!!!
I worked for Silverjet and as much as it was down to rising oil prices, there was alot of mistakes being made my the management that we all know about, the situation never had to get to this, but due to bad decision making it did, and sadly im out of a job i loved.
I know that many of my fellow workers, like me, are heartbroken.
May I just contest the validity of the previous comment. Rising crude oil prices actually spelled the end of Silverjet. The airline industry is adversely affected by crude prices, leading to severe profit margin cuts. In these situations, the share price has little to do with the performance of management.
It is such a shame these talented educated people who were put through hours of training and hady to study manuels only to find themselves being made redundant - with the fault and blame shamefully pointed to the Management team. What are you going to do for these guys? I use to be cabin crew myself and one can only imagine how dissapointed you guys must be feeling. SilverJEt Cheif Exec- you should be ashamed of yourself
pity ye all lost your job
