每個人都有隱藏在內心的陰暗性格，舉凡恐懼、貪婪、憤怒、報復、邪惡等，都是多數人不敢去正視的黑暗面。不過當這些性格爆發後，都可能造成不可預期的危機。「Dark room-Meeting my shadow」的概念，主要在於人性與科技藝術的結合，希望藉由數位化的互動裝置來引導觀者不敢觸碰的陰暗面。本作品分為「Separate and Remain」與「Meeting」兩個部分：

Everyone has his inner and dark characters, including fear, greed, anger, revenge, evil and so on. Most people are afraid to face these dark sides. However, if these characters emerge, they may bring unpredictable crisis. The concept of Dark room-Meeting my shadow combines human nature and technology using digital interactive device for the audience to face these fearful dark sides. The work contains two parts, Separate and Remain and Meeting.

「Separate and Remain」

這件作品呈現的目的很單純：「只要是人，皆有陰影。」兩個同是屬於自己的個體在眼前，那麼自己是屬於其中哪一個？就像是佛洛伊德對本我、自我、超我的解釋。這一切在觀看作­品的過程中了解到陰影的存在，也可思考著哪個是自我意識下所認同的角色。

The purpose of the work is very simple every human has his shadow. Two different self are shown, and which one is real you? Its like Freuds theory about id, ego, and super ego. The audience sees the shadow when they watch the work, and then he can know which one is the role that they confirm.

「Meeting」

佛家的《楞嚴經》裡，記載了由五蘊所生的五十種陰魔的境界，書中對每一蘊講了十種境界。每一種境界中，都指出人所經歷過的心理上的現象，及引起該種現象之原因。藉由手電筒­的探索，為自己的陰暗面找尋另一個光明面。

In Buddhist Shurangama Sutra, there are fifty devils from five aggregates. Each aggregate has ten realms, and each realm is humans mental phenomenon. The audience can use flashlight to explore the bright side to overcome the dark side.
