We can all agree that getting older, while amazing, can have it's downfalls...one of which is not being able to get ourselves out of bed for our Saturday morning Looney Tune fix. Well, that's all about to change as I have reboot news people! Warner Brothers has hired SNL star Jenny Slate to write the script for a new Looney Tunes movie that is rumored to be a hybrid of both live action and CG. We don't have many details about the plot yet, but it seems to be in good hands with producers David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith, who produced Dark Shadows, as well as Harry Potter producer David Heyman.

It's been since 2003 since we have seen our animated friends on the big screen, when Warner Bros released Looney Tunes:Back In Action, however that movie didn't quite make the splash at the box office as hoped as it only brought in about $20 million dollars domestically which paled in comparison to the popular 1996 Tune predecessor, Space Jam, which hit at around $90 million and featured my favorite Bball player, Michael Jordan.

Now Jenny Slate might be the perfect fit for this film, as she has a long resume with experience writing comedy, as seen in the YouTube viral video called Marcel the Shell With Shoes On AND with voicing animated characters in movies like Dr. Seuss' The Lorax and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.

I am kinda excited about this, but I want to hear your thoughts. Do you think the world is ready for the reboot of Bugs? Do you have any story ideas that would bring you to theater to see it?
