Not in the Oz Hall Of Fame? Who are the dickheads who run that gig? These guys were the real shit. RIP Gerry.

Gerry was a 10 pound pom & in no way related to Barry Humphries. He returned to England when his singing career faltered & worked as a Hospital orderly. What a shame. These guys could have been as big as the Stones if they'd been managed right.

The Ten-Pound-Pom rock hall of fame includes just about everyone from the 60s to 80s in Aussie Rock.

good lord I read that as 10 pound porn. Blush. The Loved Ones were the first band I loved back in the day. Blew me away then and it was great showing these vids to my 20 year old daughter this year and seeing her reaction...

@mistersmith6000 No no no

I can see the bass player was later in the lead singer for the Australian rock band, JET. He has aged pretty well considering this was probably filmed quite a while back.

@glenlyons98 Maybe even a sub-urban myth. I'd always assumed it was true anyway... Interesting.

@Kathy0851 Send me a personal message and I will send you the track.

FABULEUX GARAGE BAND .....on adore
Gerry Humphries is the brother of Barry Humphries (Dame Edna). I bought the Loved Ones album "Magic Box" in about 1965 & I still have it. It is a classic album of that era.

I can assure you that Gerry Humphries is not the brother of Barry Humphries. The proof of this lies in Barry Humphries autobiography "More Please". But yes, "Magic Box" is a classic.

I can confirm that Gerry Humphries is not related to Barry Humphries. It's just one of those urban myths...
